The Service Desk and IT Support Show, the UK’s leading Exhibition and Conference for ITSM professionals, took place at London's Olympia exhibition hall on 8-9 June 2016.
SITS 2016 was attended by approximately 4000 Service Desk professionals from private and public sector organizations, as well as key industry analysts. The event featured over 75 leading industry vendors and a packed education programme, with over 50 seminar sessions, hot topic round tables and world class keynotes.
For Alemba, SITS is the biggest industry event of the year and we usually pull out all the stops to make sure that our exhibition space really stands out from the crowd. 2016 was Alemba’s 6th consecutive year as SITS exhibitor, and this year we really had something to shout about. After months of careful planning, we were ready to reveal not only our updated vFire Self Service application, but also Alemba’s bold new branding.
Inspired by alchemy, the new Alemba brand combines striking black with an explosion of multi-coloured particles. The Alemba SITS stand kept our well-loved pink carpet, but was updated with slick black installs and a much talked-about video wall.
Our new look wasn’t the only thing to draw attention. Visitors flocked to the our stand to take in one-on-one vFire demonstrations and short talks on hot topics, such as using vFire for Enterprise Service Management, Workflow Automation and Self Service.
We also had the chance to catch up with some of our existing customers and new faces over drinks at our stand.
Alemba’s Ben Moss delivered a seminar on how rugby can tackle the problem of traditional staff training to a packed theatre hall.
SITS is a very important date in Alemba’s calendar. The event provides us with an opportunity to positively engage and interact with the industry. This year we showcased our new brand image and exciting new self-service portal. I’m thrilled to say that both received a very positive response from customers and prospects.
Conference buzzword: “No-blame culture”. This term cropped up everywhere at SITS16! Speakers advocated a no-blame approach to ensure open discussion without fear of condemnation or finger pointing.

An ICEORB Portable Wireless Floating Bluetooth Speaker was up for grabs at the Alemba stand. Keep an eye on our social media pages to find out who the lucky winner is.
