Alemba has achieved Cyber Essentials Plus certification, demonstrating that the organization meets the UK Government’s recommended cybersecurity standards and that its systems have been independently verified through technical testing designed to protect against common cyber threats.
Cyber Essentials Plus is the highest level of certification under the UK Government-backed Cyber Essentials scheme, administered by the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC). Unlike the standard Cyber Essentials certification, Cyber Essentials Plus requires a rigorous technical audit, including independent testing of security controls across an organization’s IT environment.
The certification confirms that Alemba has implemented robust security measures designed to protect systems and data from common attack methods, including controls around secure configuration, user access management, malware protection, and network security.
For organizations evaluating enterprise service management solutions, this provides additional assurance that Alemba follows recognized cybersecurity best practices and maintains strong protections for customer environments and data.
Emily Taggart, General Manager at Alemba, commented:
“Security and trust are fundamental to the services we provide to our customers. Achieving Cyber Essentials Plus certification independently validates the security controls we have in place and reflects our ongoing commitment to protecting customer data and maintaining resilient, secure services.”
Cyber Essentials Plus complements Alemba’s existing certifications and standards, including PinkVERIFY™ certification across 25 ITIL practices, ISO 27001 information security management, ISO 9001 quality management, and WCAG accessibility conformance.
Together, these accreditations reinforce Alemba’s commitment to delivering secure, reliable, and accessible enterprise service management solutions for organizations operating in complex and highly regulated environments.
