SITS - The IT Service Management Show is considered the UK’s leading ITSM Exhibition and Conference and one of the must-attend events on Alemba’s calendar.

We are really pleased to have exhibited at SITS 2015 at the wonderful new hall in Olympia. As an ITSM vendor, Alemba see this show as playing a crucial part in our ongoing Marketing and Communications plan. In terms of the UK and Europe, it is by far the biggest ITSM show. Having exhibited here for a number of years now, it’s proved consistently to be one of the most valuable, rewarding and engaging events in the ITSM industry.

Tom Bailey, VP of Product Management

Offering over 50 seminars, keynote sessions, breakfast briefings and Hot Topic Roundtables, SITS is an invaluable resource for ITSM professionals looking to expand their skills set and engage with high profile leaders in the IT community.

SITS 2015 took place on 3-4 June at its new home at Olympia, London and brought together more than 70 leading IT suppliers, consultants and trainers under one roof. Key themes for this year’s event included ITSM leadership values and thoughts on implementing Enterprise Service Management beyond IT.

This year SITS coincided with the newly launched Women in IT Week (1-5 June 2015), an initiative to inspire women to pursue careers in the technology and IT service sectors. The IT Service Management Show hosted a keynote panel discussion on the importance of championing equality in IT, chaired by Karen Ferris and featuring well-known speakers Rosh Hosany, Lorraine Brown, Barbara Gardner, David Wright and Simone Moore.

Women in IT Week, described by SITS Event Manager Toby Moore as ‘the beginnings of the most important thing SITS has ever done, also initiated a series of ‘my story’ blogs written by inspiring female leaders in the IT community.

Alemba attended SITS 2015 as an exhibitor to share in the dynamic debates, catch up with our colleagues in the ITSM community and showcase the latest in vFire development.

Alemba’s Chief Sales and Operations Officer John Murnane delivered a sold out session on ‘Internal IT Relationships in the World of Virtual IT’, during which he offered insights into the ways virtualisation has transformed IT.

**The winner of Alemba’s SITS grand prize draw will be announced on 16 June 2015. Keep an eye on our Twitter and Facebook pages to see if who will walk away with a brand new Apple Watch.

As always, the Alemba team had their cameras ready to capture some great SITS15 moments.
